Our new starters, parents and carers are encouraged to visit the school to meet the Head, Rebecca Wesley, for an introduction to school life at Glen Hills. Book your place and come along to an open day on:

Thursday 7th November 2024 – 1.30pm
Tuesday 3rd December 2024 – 9.30am
Saturday 16th November 2024 - 9.30am to 11.30am*
*Stay and Play session - a time for your child/ren to explore our brilliant Foundation Unit whilst you get to know the staff.

We also take children out of catchment to support parents in finding the right school.
Applications for places at our school are managed by Leicestershire County Council; the school does not deal with places directly. The authority manage our admissions as part of their co-opted scheme.

Applying for a place mid year for all year groups
We have a few places available in different year groups. If you are interested and wish to move your child from another school during the academic year (this is called a mid term or mid year transfer), please call our office 0116 278 2535 to find out if we have any places, before making an application to the Leicestershire Local Authority.
Appeals
If your child has been refused a school place, you can appeal. If you have applied as part of the normal round of admissions, and have been refused a school place, you will be automatically placed on the school’s oversubscription (waiting) list.
