Glen Hills Primary School is a Trust member and Lead Hub school for the Symphony Learning Trust

2013 - 2014

In the 2013-14 academic year, the Student Council asked the students of Glen Hills for ideas to improve the outside area of the school.  The decision was made that a set of goals was missing from the ballcourt.  With funding from the PSA, the Council had two fantastic timber target walls installed!

2014 - 2015

Excellent Citizen Stickers

This year the Student Council will be handing out stickers at break and lunch time, on one day each week, to children who are being excellent citizens.  This day will change every week and will always be a mystery!  So, make sure you are always polite, friendly and well mannered whilst out and about around school.  Every person who gets a sticker will also earn 10 House Points!

Watch out for these orange stickers!

Wear a Fancy Hat Day!

The Student Council have decided that, as a treat for superb behaviour across the school, everyone can wear a hat for school on Friday 21st November.  The hats can be tall, short, woolly, pointy, sparkly, homemade or whatever you fancy.

Get creative and have fun!

Wear a Fancy Hat Day UPDATE!

Everyone had a fantastic day!  There were lots of creative, colourful, imaginative and funny hats on show.  Mr Sutcliffe even borrowed Student Council member Niamh's chicken hat.  He looked eggsellent!

Everybody looked amazing in their fancy hats!

Wear a Onesie or Pyjamas to School Day

In order to raise money for this year's school charities, Friday 13th March will be 'Wear a Onesie or Pyjamas to School' day.  As this is for our charities, we would really appreciate any and all donations.
