At Glen Hills, we are proud of our distinctive school uniform. We fully expect all pupils to wear the Glen Hills uniform which is available to buy from the
school reception until December 2019, after this it will only be available on line - more details to follow.
Our policy for school uniform is based on the principle that school uniform:
- Promotes a sense of pride in the school
- Develops a sense of community and belonging to the school
- Is practical and looks smart
- Makes children feel equal to others in terms of appearance
- Is regarded as suitable clothing for school
- Is considered by parents as good value for money
- Is designed with health and safety in mind
- Has a positive impact on behaviour and attitudes in school
We will always act reasonably and sensibly in accommodating religious requirements, providing they
do not pose a threat to security, safety and learning, or compromise the well-being of the school community.
If parents require an exception to any rules for medical or religious reasons, then a letter
from a doctor or religious leader to the governors is required.

quickly.

responsibility for any lost items.
