At Glen Hills, we are proud of our distinctive school uniform. We fully expect all pupils to wear
the Glen Hills uniform which is available to buy from : www.uniform-direct.com or from the Uniform Direct store (54-56 Humberstone Gate, Leicester, LE1 3PJ).
Our policy for school uniform is based on the principle that school
uniform:
- Promotes a sense of pride in the school
- Develops a sense of community and belonging to the
school
- Is practical and looks smart
- Makes children feel equal to others in terms of
appearance
- Is regarded as suitable clothing for
school
- Is considered by parents as good value for
money
- Is designed with health and safety in
mind
- Has a positive impact on behaviour and attitudes in
school
We will always act reasonably and sensibly in accommodating religious
requirements, providing they do not pose a threat to security, safety and learning, or compromise the well-being of the school community.
If parents require an exception to any rules for medical or religious
reasons, then a letter from a doctor or religious leader to the governors is required.
